OUR AFFILIATIONS

Our Divine Kingdom Relationships.

Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International (FGBCFI)
www.fullgospelbaptist.org
Rev. Lennett Anderson serves as the Overseer of the Canadian region of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International.  Our Church partners with FGBCFI every year at their annual conference.  Through this fellowship we have established key ministry relationships and partnerships for both present and future kingdom ministry.

Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches (CABC)
www.baptist-atlantic.ca
The Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches is “a ministry partnership of nearly 500 Canadian Baptist churches in the Atlantic Provinces.”  It serves as a resource for pastors, churches, and people, and facilitates shared mission on behalf of those churches within the convention.  Within the convention there are a number of Associations, which are usually determined by the geographical location of individual churches.  Emmanuel is affiliated with the African United Baptist Association and is one of the largest churches in the convention.

African United Baptist Association of Nova Scotia (AUBA)
www.auba.ca
The African United Baptist Association of Nova Scotia was established in 1854.  Of the many associations in the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches (CABC), the AUBA is the only association that is organized because of demographic – it was originally developed to unite Black Churches in Nova Scotia.  This Association is the Mother Organization of nineteen Black Baptist Churches in Nova Scotia.  The AUBA has played an important part in nurturing the spirit for many Black Nova Scotians. This organization is far more than a religious organization – it has served as a centre for education opportunities, a trailblazer for social change and remains a strong voice for hundreds of black families throughout Nova Scotia.

Acadia Divinity College
www.acadiadiv.ca
Acadia Divinity College is a Christian theological seminary rooted in the Bible.  Founded in 1838 by Baptist leaders, the school equips individuals for effective ordained and non-ordained ministry and theological scholarship for a wide variety of denominational and non-denominational contexts.
