A GREETING FROM OUR SENIOR PASTOR

Beloved, I greet you with Jesus joy,
In Exodus 33:7-18 we find a unique fellowship between God and man where anyone who sought the LORD came away from the crowd to the “Tent of Meeting” (v. 7). There the Shekinah glory of God would hover over the tent as the Lord spoke with Moses “face to face, as one speaks to a friend” (v. 11) and promised His people that He would personally go with them to the “Promised Land” (v. 14).
Whenever the believers in the New Testament Church met, they devoted themselves to sound Teaching, loving Fellowship, fervent Witnessing and to authentic Worship. Furthermore, God affirmed their witness through the miraculous and many were saved daily through the preaching of the Good News (Acts 2:42-47).
At Emmanuel we have witnessed the miraculous outworking of Jesus’ ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). The Good News is preached to the poor, the captives are being released, the blind see, the oppressed are set free and the Lord’s favor is evident in the lives of those who meet (Luke 4:18-19).
Truly EBC: The MEETing Place has become a sanctuary where we worship with an expectancy that we will indeed be met by God. At our church the Spirit of God brings a joyous liberty that transforms lives to reflect the glorious image of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:17-18). This is evident in the lives of believers as we continue to Minister to the Whole Person, Evangelize the Lost, Equip Members to be Ministers, and Teach the Body of Christ (M.E.E.T.). In this season, as we are Building for Greater, may God meet you as you meet God!.
