Souls Harbour Rescue Mission Dinner

Summer is over and it’s time to begin our work at Souls Harbour Rescue Mission again.  The EBC Souls Harbour Rescue Mission team provides a meal the third Friday of every month at their location on Cunard Street in Halifax. This month the meal will take place on September 15th.  There will be a table with a sign up sheet in the foyer this Sunday, September 10th.   It is very important that you do sign up so that we know what is available and what we may need to purchase. It’s is also important to know how many volunteers to expect so that we can better allocate job duties and make the best use of everyone’s time and contribution.

We need donations of food and volunteers to help work in the kitchen, serve the meals and assist with clean up afterwards.  We also need entertainment, so if anyone is musically inclined or knows a group that is (preferably gospel) then please let us know.

This month’s meal is Shephard’s pie, Ceasar salad, rolls and assorted pies for desserts.
