DESCRIPTION:John 10:10 Says that “The thief comes only to steal\, kill an
 d destroy\; I have come that they may have life\, and have it to the full.
 ”  This is one of the beautiful promises that\, through Christ\, we hav
 e as believers.  And yet\, many Christians live in bondage and defeat to 
 a life-controlling issue\, never fully receiving the freedom available to 
 us.  Life-controlling issues and destructive habits\; substance abuse and
  mis-use\, gambling addiction\, on-line shopping\, disordered use of food\
 , any of these behavioural or process addictions can result in negative im
 pacts for our lives as believers. \n\nEBC is excited and honoured to be l
 aunching Overcomers – a bible-based 12 step recovery program to help peo
 ple who are struggling with these issues.  Through the program of Overcom
 es\, participants can find support\, healing and recovery from life-contro
 lling issues\, through the biblical model for recovery\, through the suppo
 rt of leaders with lived experience and through the power of the Holy Spir
 it.\nOvercomers will take place on Fridays at 7pm\, here at EBC\, for 13 w
 eeks\, starting October 24\, 2025.  Registration will be online.  Partic
 ipation will include resource materials.  Since this is our first time of
 fering the Overcomers program at EBC\, we will need to limit participation
  to a manageable 12 believers at EBC.  If you would like to discuss furth
