Ministry Profile

The heart of young adult ministry is to challenge colleagues to live lives so surrendered to God that they are willing to go wherever, whenever God calls them to.  This group of young people believes they have the power to impact and transform their world.  Youth Adult Ministry volunteers belief in the power of mentorship.  They do so through sharing their story and helping other young adults to chart the course of their own lives in such a way as to unlock and use their God-given gifts effectively in their world.

Those who serve in young adult ministry at Emmanuel: The Meeting Place believe that they have a vital part to play in changing their world and society’s views on various issues.  They do so by challenging their peers and being accountable to each other as they seek to transform their world for Christ.

Meeting Times & Locations
Monthly:
Day: Third Saturday
Time: 6:30 – 8:30PM
Location: As Determined

Involvement Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) months attending EBC: The Meeting Place
• Attend ministry meetings
• Have a heart to serve God through relational mentorship
• Share skill set that is suited to the vision of our young adult ministry
• Time commitment:  Once a month and all leadership meetings
