Sis. Julie Smith - grew up in Upper Hammonds Plains but now resides in Middle
Sackville with her husband Cyril. They have been married for 33 years and are
blessed to have a beautiful adult daughter, Cyrelle.
Sis. Julie retired from the Provincial Government after 30 years in the Insurance &
Risk Management division. Although she officially retired six years ago, she
returned to work for the Provincial Government as an Executive Correspondence
Coordinator in the Premier’s Office, where she has been for the past four years.
Sis. Julie is a God-fearing woman who lives her life through one of her favourite
scriptures, 2 Corithians 5:7, “For we walk by faith and not by sight”. This scripture
truly captures how she lives her life—trusting in God’s direction and showing
others that faith isn’t just something we talk about, but something we actively live
out each day.
As a woman of faith, she is passionate about serving the Lord and fulfilling His
purpose. She strives to live a life pleasing to God and displays her faith daily by
demonstrating God’s love and the realness of His presence in her life.
Sis. Julie has a deep passion for prayer and encouragement and seizes every
opportunity God presents to lift others up. Over the past five years, she has
utilized social media, particularly Facebook, as a platform for encouragement and
sharing her faith and messages of hope on Sunday mornings. This social media
platform is an example of how modern platforms can serve the Kingdom and
make a lasting impact.
Sis. Julie is deeply grateful and humbled to serve the Most High God, always
seeking to bring glory to His name through her actions and faith.
