Kaitlyn is the Office Administrator at EBC: The Meeting Place and a dedicated leader in the historic Black community of Upper Hammonds Plains. With a passion for helping others, she is a tireless advocate for her community.
In addition to her work at EBC, Kaitlyn serves as the Youth Program Coordinator for the Upper Hammonds Plains Community Development Association and the Program Coordinator for the Upper Hammonds Plains Community Land Trust. Her involvement in these key roles highlights her unwavering commitment to community empowerment and development.
Kaitlyn’s professional background includes a diploma in Human Services: Mental Health and Addictions, and 12 years of experience in the mental health field. She has also studied Career Development, working as a Career Development Practitioner, which further fuels her desire to support people in finding their purpose and achieving their goals.
Her love for her community is mirrored in her dedication to EBC, where her commitment to the church’s mission inspired her to take on the role of Office Administrator. Here, she blends her organizational skills with her faith and values to contribute to the church’s vision.
Outside of her work, Kaitlyn is the proud mother of three wonderful children—Emilya, Kiara, and Sire. Her devotion to her family and her community are the driving forces behind everything she does.
