Philip brings strong experience in communications, student engagement, event coordination, and leadership within higher education. A recent graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University, he holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and has demonstrated a passion for building meaningful relationships and fostering community.
As a Mount Mentor, Philip supported prospective, new, and returning students through orientation programs, one-on-one mentoring, and engagement initiatives. He also developed social media and digital communications designed to inform, connect, and support students throughout their university experience.
Philip further developed his organizational and administrative skills as a Student Assistant Conference Organizer, coordinating communications with presenters from around the world while supporting event logistics and program delivery. His leadership experience includes serving as Founder and President of the Afrocentric Students' Society and Chairperson of the Black Students Advisory Committee, where he led initiatives that brought people together around a shared purpose.
Most importantly, Philip has a genuine heart for ministry and serving others. His passion for people, commitment to community, and alignment with the mission and values of EBC: The Meeting Place make him an excellent addition to our team.
